The Building Programme supports me in renovating the facade of my building

If your plaster is crumbling or the roof is leaking, you can contact Programme Bâtiments.

If you want to carry out work to improve the thermal insulation of your building, you can also contact Programme Bâtiments.

Subject to the conditions set out on the Building Programme website or below, you are entitled to the M-01 grant.

Renovating the facade of my building: what are the conditions for obtaining the M-01 grant?

The conditions are as follows:

- The buildings were granted planning permission before 2000.

- Only those parts of buildings that were already heated in the original situation are entitled to a contribution. New buildings, extensions and extensions do not qualify for any contribution.

- The U-value threshold of the building element shall be: U ≤ 0.20 W/m2K. However, there is an exception for walls and floors with a depth of more than 2 m: U ≤ 0.25 W/m2K.

- The U-value of the building elements eligible for the contribution must be improved by at least 0.07 W/m2K.

- For the renovation of protected buildings or building components, there are reduced requirements if proof is provided that the required U-values are not achievable.

- If your facade is larger than 150 m2, as is typical for a family home, you are entitled to more than CHF 10,000 in aid! For this, the Canton asks for the +CECB. Here too, you are entitled to a subsidy of 750 to 1,500 CHF, depending on your canton, to have it drawn up. A winner.

The CECB Plus certificate (if not possible: summary analysis with recommendations on the procedure to be followed according to the SFOE's specifications) must be provided from CHF 10,000 of financial contribution per application*.

Renovate the facade of my building: what are the contribution amounts with M-01 grant?

Each canton may then present additional conditions. If this is the case, the cantons' websites will present the information.

For more information on the amount of Subsidies, you can refer to our articles on Geneva, Fribourg, and Vaud.
