Course
After his engineering studies, Dario Santandrea's professional career began in 2013 at CERN (European Organization for Nuclear Research) in the field of Research and Development for Cryogenics applied to subatomic physics and the LHC.
In 2017 he joined the Energy Systems team of the University of Geneva as a scientific assistant. The group, managed by Dr. Pierre Hollmuller, is very well known for its activities in the energy field serving the Geneva and French speaking communities.
Energy Management and PEIK/ auditorCECB
At the beginning of 2018, with his PEIK Auditor accreditation obtained from SuisseEnergie, followed by his certification as an expert CECB (2019), he begins his career in the field of Energy Management and audits for the private sectors of SMEs and SMIs as well as municipalities. This experience, together with a successful partnership with GIS and OCEN, has enabled Dario Santandrea to acquire key skills in the field of building physics: management of complex and multidisciplinary projects, energy monitoring, energy management (ISO 50001) as well as in communication and relations adapted to the different interlocutors.
Energy Management for local authorities
At the beginning of 2020, he joined the Eco-21 Collectivité team of SIG. This gives him an increased expertise in the technical control assistance to the communal energy managers, as well as the project control assistance at project/action level. Thanks to a close collaboration with the technical offices of the communes of the canton, he was also able to learn, use and master the cantonal and federal legislative aspects in the field of energy, the authorisation process and obtaining cantonal Subsidies .
