WHO IS AMO?
The AMO is an assistant with proven experience in renovation, enabling him to help the M.O. (Maître d'Ouvrage) and the architect to carry out a complete and successful renovation.
He is responsible for carrying out certain tasks on behalf of the M.O., and for passing on relevant information to his principal to help him make decisions. Only the M.O. has the power to decide which solution to implement. In the canton of Vaud, owner support funding (AMO) is available for this purpose.
WHAT CAN IT DO FOR YOU?
The role of the AMO is to advise and support you in carrying out an energy renovation project. Renovation aims to improve the energy efficiency of the building by improving the thermal insulation of the building envelope and/or the renewable energy production system.
The AMO assists the project owner in various phases:
- In defining the renovation project,
- In the choice and coordination of stakeholders,
- In planning,
- In administrative procedures related to energy interventions.
Amount of grant awarded:
- Single-family dwelling: CHF 3,000.
- Multi-family dwelling: 6,000 fr.
PREREQUISITES
To benefit from this subsidy, you need to meet certain requirements. These are listed below:
- The energy consultant chosen must be on the list of energy consultants accredited by theState ofVaud.
- The building must first have obtained a CECB® Plus certificate.
- A variant presented in the CECB® Plus report must achieve an envelope class of D (for an original class of E, F or G) and an overall energy class of C (for an original class of D, E, F or G).
- Only projects with architects are accepted.
- The application applies only to buildings for which the building permit came into force before January 1, 2000. Only one application per building.
